Advanced Filters in Reaktor Core v1.4
By Stephan Schmitt
Here come the solutions for Vadim's DSP Tutorials
Vadim has decided to release the Core structures that he created for the tutorials accompanying his DSP articles on the NI Wesite.
1) "Preserving the LTI system topology in s- to z-plane transforms"
2) "Frequency-scaling of discrete-time LTI system responses"
3) "Computational optimization of nonlinear zero-delay feedback by second-order piecewise approximation"

The three ensembles allow to directly try out the improvements archieved by the described methods.
In a nutshell: it's a way to get high-quality filters without oversampling.
For the third article we have added a mp3 audio demo. It showcases the behaviour of four types of filters running at 44.1 Khz samplerate.

whoo !whoo !whoo !
I fear that I can't quite follow the papers Vadim posted yet (I'm not DSP saavy at all), but I can appreciate this treatment of Reaktor as a "basic research" tool for development of new instruments. Thanks much for keeping Reaktor on the cutting edge where it belongs.
nice one stephan ,thanks for your work with reaktor its the best, especially
the new dsp work with vadim look how far we come from back in the day WOW
reaktor is the product of pure genius!
These sound great, thank you!
they do sound great. thank you!!!
yes - very impressive - many thanks to Vadim!
any idea why the low end drops out as you increase the res on the self-oscillating filter? i'd like to know why that happens with many lpf's. thanks!
